The easy-going, polite 19-year-old representing Canada came out swinging to barge his way into the WST Rome Street finals, both grinding up the hubba ledge and fakie 50-50ing back down it. Tall and powerful, he is also 360 flipping to frontside 50-50 with real consistency and had a couple of wild secret moves for the Best Trick section. Plenty of time to progress and already in possession of more pop than most. With a tour-best 4th at the Tokyo World Championships last December, he held his own on a Best-Trick shootout for the ages and is hitting his formidable groove at just the right time.
