Hinano Kusaki came very close to winning the 2024 World Championship not much more than two years after making her WST debut. As an unknown at the 2022 WST World Championships in Sharjah, UAE, Hinano Kusaki qualified first into the Quarterfinals and second into the Semis. She then performed consistently enough throughout the WST to make it as far as the finals of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Just hitting stride, she has shaken up everything in her division with melon 540s and saran wrap airs which nobody else is doing- and goes bigger than anyone else save Raicca Ventura while doing so.
