One of the leading lights of a French pushback against Spanish continental domination in Park, Louise-Aina Taboulet (Nana is her nickname) only made it as far as 40th place in the 2023 World Championships. Within a year she had leapt 33 places to enter her first WST final at the 2024 World Championship- and come away in 7th. From there she pressed on to make two further WST finals in 2025- including a Tour-best 5th at WST Sao Paulo, where many better- established names floundered.
