Implications
Melville Ives moves into Silvaplana with two wins in three starts and the men’s Halfpipe points lead, reinforcing medal expectations for February. Brown retains the women’s Halfpipe lead despite finishing fourth, keeping the rookie’s Globe bid intact.
Japan’s Halfpipe depth reasserted itself in Aspen, with Ono’s first win since 2024 and Totsuka reclaiming control of the men’s standings. Choi’s absence kept her overall edge but narrowed margins heading into Laax.
Blouin’s return to form and Canter’s first win reshape early Slopestyle narratives. Forehand’s home-snow Slopestyle victory and Sildaru’s first podium signal shifts within the men’s field before Olympic selections finalize.
