Arisa Trew and Jd Sanchez claimed commanding victories in the Women’s and Men’s Vert finals at JACKALOPE Montréal 2025, held September 12–14 at the Jacques-Cartier Pier. The event, part of the JACKALOPE Series, drew over 150 athletes and thousands of spectators to Canada’s largest action sports festival.
In the Women’s division, Arisa Trew scored a near-perfect 98.50 points, continuing her undefeated streak following recent wins at Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert and X Games Osaka. Mizuho Hasegawa finished second with 95.20, closely mirroring her runner-up performances earlier this year. Nina Ye took third with 91.55, solidifying her position as a rising contender.

The competition served as a qualifying event for the Vert Battle finals in Brazil, with both Trew and Sanchez earning all-expenses-paid trips. Off the ramp, the festival featured best trick contests, grom events like the Pup Cup for under‑7s, mini-ramp jam sessions, food trucks, live music, and community activations that drew a strong turnout from locals and visitors alike.
Trew's win marks her third consecutive major vert title in 2025, further distancing herself as the top-ranked female vert skater this season. For Sanchez, this result confirms his return to form after a strong performance at Vert Alert and a string of recent podiums despite injury setbacks.
With Brazil on the horizon, both riders will carry strong momentum into the Vert Battle final.
