The snowboard fields are deep across all four events. Men’s Superpipe features Scotty James, Yuto Totsuka and Ayumu Hirano alongside Ruka Hirano and Shuichiro Shigeno, signaling another Japan-Australia battle for amplitude and execution. Women’s Superpipe is led by Maddie Mastro, Xuetong Cai and Sena Tomita with consistent finalists Sara Shimizu and Mitsuki Ono in the mix.

In snowboard slopestyle, Red Gerard returns with Liam Brearley, Mark McMorris and Marcus Kleveland. The inclusion of Su Yiming and Mons Røisland points to a technical, high-difficulty course being decisive. Women’s slopestyle stacks proven winners Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, Kokomo Murase, Mia Brookes and Anna Gasser, with Reira Iwabuchi and Tess Coady adding podium pressure.

Snowboard big air highlights a power lineup of Hiroto Ogiwara, Taiga Hasegawa, Marcus Kleveland and Mons Røisland. Women’s big air brings Anna Gasser, Reira Iwabuchi and Mia Brookes with Kokomo Murase and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, suggesting a progression battle around triple-axis variations.

Knuckle Huck returns as a form-breaker. The men’s field includes Wang Ziyang, Zeb Powell, Patrick Hofmann and Halldor Helgason alongside contest regulars Kleveland and Dusty Henricksen. Women’s Knuckle Huck debuts heavy hitters Kokomo Murase and Mia Brookes with Lily Dhawonrvej and Annika Morgan, indicating a style-first contest with new faces.

Multi-event entries shape the snowboard storyline. Marcus Kleveland targets slopestyle, big air and knuckle huck. Kokomo Murase and Mia Brookes appear in slopestyle, big air and knuckle huck, while Anna Gasser enters slopestyle and big air. These choices point to a packed schedule for the sport’s most versatile riders.

Freeski startlists are equally loaded. Men’s Superpipe features past gold medalists Alex Ferreira, David Wise and Birk Irving, plus Brendan MacKay and Hunter Hess. Women’s Superpipe is headlined by Zoe Atkin with Eileen Gu, Rachael Karker and Hanna Faulhaber, setting up a high-difficulty showdown.

Men’s slopestyle fields Luca Harrington, Alex Hall, Birk Ruud, Andri Ragettli and Mac Forehand, with Colby Stevenson anchoring the U.S. contingent. Men’s big air adds Troy Podmilsak, Henrik Harlaut and Dylan Deschamps to that core, suggesting a final where spin direction variety and grab integrity determine margins.

Ski Knuckle Huck centers on Jesper Tjäder’s creativity with Alex Hall, Colby Stevenson and Tormod Frostad. Expect rail-to-knuckle transfers and switch concepts to dictate judges’ separation.

Women’s ski slopestyle features Mathilde Gremaud, Tess Ledeux, Megan Oldham and Eileen Gu, a quartet that has defined the event’s last Olympic cycle. Women’s big air mirrors that group with Gremaud, Ledeux, Oldham and Gu joined by Sarah Hoefflin and Kirsty Muir, indicating a likely rotation-progression contest.

Triple-threat entries could influence fatigue and momentum. Eileen Gu is slated for superpipe, slopestyle and big air. Alex Hall appears in slopestyle, big air and knuckle huck. Tormod Frostad is listed in slopestyle, big air and knuckle huck. Managing run counts and weather windows will be pivotal across finals weekend.

Startlists are subject to change. As currently filed, Aspen 2026 sets up head-to-head battles between established champions and upward-trend athletes across both sports.
