Running alongside the 2025 German Championships, the Interskate Open once again delivered an exciting international contest that showcased the global side of skateboarding culture. With athletes from over a dozen countries and a packed festival lineup, the event confirmed its status as a leading platform for both competition and community.
Street Women
Candy Jacobs (NED) topped the women’s Street field with a dominant run, confirming her status as one of Europe’s most consistent performers. Fellow Dutch skater Yara Backx finished second, while Laura Zackova (CZE) claimed third.
Street Men
Brazil’s Marcelo Batista claimed the win in the men’s Street competition with a high-energy run packed with technical tricks and creative use of the course. Jost Arens (GER) followed up his national title with a strong second-place finish, while Spain’s Danny León rounded out the podium in third.
Park Women
Lilly Stoephasius (GER) completed a rare weekend double by winning both the national championship and the Interskate Open in Park. Italy’s Lucrezia Zarattini placed second with solid flow and amplitude, while Germany’s Gogo Dale returned to the podium with third.
Park Men
Denmark’s Viktor Solmunde took the top spot in the men’s Park competition with a clean and powerful run. Danny León (ESP) placed second, while Germany’s newly crowned national champion Vinzenz Hoffmann took third — rounding out a highly successful weekend for the young rider.
Festival Atmosphere & Side Events
Beyond the contest, Interskate delivered a full cultural experience. Live acts including Antifuchs, Acid Frank, and Xena Krell brought energy to the Rollfabrik stage, while late-night DJ sets kept the party going. DIY workshops in skateboard building, screen printing, graffiti, and zines drew steady crowds, complemented by a strong local street food lineup.
Organized with support from Kulturküche MG, Interskate once again proved its unique role in connecting skateboarding, music, and urban culture in one vibrant weekend.
