Asa Vermette has taken a commanding win at the 2025 Red Bull Hardline in Wales, delivering a near-flawless run down one of the world’s most challenging downhill courses. The American prodigy stopped the clock at 02:24.477, securing his first Hardline title with a display of technical precision and fearless commitment.
Defending champion Charlie Hatton had to settle for second place this year, finishing just under two seconds behind Vermette with a time of 02:26.158. Hatton looked smooth and consistent but couldn't match the raw pace of the young Vermette on the day.
Ireland’s Rónán Dunne rounded out the podium in third place with a time of 02:29.496. Dunne, who has been building momentum all season, once again demonstrated his top-tier form on steep and high-speed terrain.
In the women’s category, Louise-Anna Ferguson made history by taking the win with a strong ride of 03:44.593. Competing on a course known for its brutality, Ferguson not only completed the track but set the benchmark for future women competitors at Hardline.
