The Red Bull Heavy Metal competition returned to the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol, transforming the iconic site into a technical urban snowboarding battleground. Thirty-two of the world's best riders competed across three zones, testing their creativity and control on a variety of urban features.

Veda Hallen put down a near-flawless performance to win the women's division. She set the tone with a massive underflip over the creeper ledge in Zone One, then sealed the overall victory with a clean noseslide pretzel on the marble ledge in Zone Two.

On the men's side, Austin Visintainer showed complete mastery of the course. His highlights included a half cab 50-50 on the creeper ledge and a backside 180 to switch 50-50 on the 60-foot kinked rail in Zone Three. His consistency across all sections secured the overall title.
