World Skate confirmed that São Paulo will stage the World Championships for both Olympic disciplines, Street and Park, alongside a dedicated Adaptive Skateboarding competition. Organizers expect approximately 400 athletes.
The event title is 2025 World Championships, but the competition window is March 1–8, 2026. The naming aligns with World Skate’s season framework and follows recent World Skateboarding Tour stops.
World Skate’s renewed partnership with STU positions São Paulo as a central hub for elite skateboarding while reinforcing Brazil’s longtime competitive depth and fan base.
Results will count toward the international ranking for men and women and provide an early read on form heading into the Los Angeles 2028 cycle. Venue address: Av. Queiroz Filho, 1365, Vila Hamburguesa, São Paulo.
Quotes from World Skate President Sabatino Aracu and STU founder Diogo Castelão emphasized Brazil’s role in global skateboarding and a multi-year pathway to LA 2028.
